ABOUT THE TRIP

Le Barcarès at Christmas is one of the best experiences around this time in the south of France. Giant Ferris wheels, ice rinks, Santa Claus’s cabin, sleigh areas, carousels with fantastic animals, a ship full of “animals” and even an enchanted forest… You will find all this and more in the Village de Nöel in Le Barcarès, a coastal town that every year from December and until after Three Kings Day sets up a large 3,000 m2 enclosure near the coast to recreate an authentic Christmas town in which no detail is missing. Its spectacular lighting is one of its claims.

Le Barcarès is a village located on the coast about 15 minutes drive from Perpignan. The Village is set up every year on the outskirts in a typical area of summer apartments with enough space to park your car without having to pay for parking. During the winter months, this area remains at half throttle, which is why the City Council decided to revitalize it back in 1999 with a large Christmas village that has undoubtedly become very famous.
