Tired of Winter? Need some heat? Come, join us on a trip to Las Fallas festival in Valencia!

This crazy fiesta is famous for its fiery (Las Fallas actually means ‘fires’ in Valencian) and unique performances. The main mission of this celebration is creating and destroying huge puppets, which satirically portrays various people, subjects, news and current events. It’s very exciting and fun to watch for sure!

The 19th of March (the day of our trip) is the highlight of Las Fallas: this is the last and most interesting day of this festival since they will burn down all the fallas (giant sculptures) on the streets. Do not miss out this chance to see the giants on fire this year!

To make this trip even more amazing and irresistable, on our way to Valencia we will stop in one of Spain’s most beatuiful towns: Peñíscola. This city is also known as the City in the Sea since it’s surrounded by water on three sides.  Peñíscola will admire you with the aesthetic beauty of its castle, the medieval walls and its winding streets lined by white houses. Did you know that Peñíscola also appeared in Game of Thrones as Meereen?

After we admired Peñíscola, we are going to the vibrant Valencia – the third largest city in Spain – to take some cool pictures at The City of Arts and Sciences and to enjoy the main attraction of this trip: Las Fallas festival.

  • DAY 1 - Valencia

    Sunday, March 19

    • 07:00 - Meeting at the corner of  Plaza Drassanes with Av.  Paral-lel.
    • 07:30 - Departure of the Bus to Peñíscola
    • 10:30 - Arrival in Peñíscola. Free time to admire this city
    • 12:30 - Departure of the Bus to Valencia
    • 14:30 - Arrival in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.
    • 15:30 - Free time to enjoy Las Fallas. Party on the streets, watching the fallas (ninots), etc…
    • Las fallas 2023 program:
    • 20:00 h. - «Cremà» de las fallas infantiles.
    • 20:30 h. – «Cremà» de la falla infantil that has obtained the first award of the Special Section
    • 21:00 h. – «Cremà» de la falla infantil de la Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
    • 22:00 h. – «Cremà» de todas las fallas de Valencia.
    • 22:30 h. – «Cremà» de la falla that has obtained the first award of the Special Section .
    • 23:00 h. – «Cremà» de la falla de la Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Fire show by Brothers Caballer.

  • DAY 2 - Valencia

    Monday, 20 march

    • 01:45 - Meeting point next to Torres de Serrano
    • 02:00 - Departure of the buses
    • 05:30 - Approximate arrival in Barcelona
    We will not sleep in Valencia, we leave for Barcelona at 2.00 am!
