El Gran Teatre Del Liceu
El Gran Teatre Del Liceu has a very central location, right on the famous La Rambla street, and a beautiful front facade. It opened in 1947 and holds almost 2.300 seats divided on six floors. It has become an essential cultural location of Barcelona and you can book guided tours to see the most important parts of the building. There is a café, and a shop as well. Most of the performances in this theatre are opera as it is actually one of the most important opera houses in Europe.

Coliseum
Coliseum is a theater and a cinema located very in near La Rambla and Passeig De Grácia. It is an historic building a great atmosphere. It opened in 1923 and is one of the biggest film theaters in Barcelona. Coliseum is an iconic building of the 1920s, designed by Francesc de Paula Nebot although it has been damaged by the 1937 air raids of the Spanish Civil War.

Teatre Tívoli
Teatre Tívoli is located at the heart of the city since 1918. It was first a cinema but was turned into the theater it is today in 1982. This is a charming and Italian-style theater that has a capacity of 1.683 spectators: it is the second largest theatre in Barcelona, after El Gran Teatre del Liceu. It has a very cozy vibe, great acoustics, and it hosts many of the city’s most popular productions, most especially famous musicals.

Teatre Apolo
Teatre Apolo is one of Barcelona’s oldest and most distinguished theaters. However, the original building was demolished in the beginning of the 1990’s to be replaced by a hotel and the new theater. The venue shows popular plays, permanent cabaret performances and other unique concerts by well-known artists.

Teatre Victòria
The vibe and style of this theater are very cozy and comfortable thanks to great acoustics, good lightning and typical red chairs and theater curtain. Teatre Victòria opened in 1916 and was renovated in 1992. There are shown comedies, opera, hip-hop shows, modern music and plays, and reinterpretations of classical plays.

Club Capitol
Club Capitol is located on La Rambla, close to El Gran Teatre Del Liceu. It opened in 1926 as a cinema until it became a theater in 1989. It has had different owners but is currently owned by Grup Balaña, who also runs a number of other theaters in the city.
The venue has two major stages, one with approximately 520 seats and another one with 260 seats. It proposes all kinds of shows such as musicals and cabarets, but the main success there is by far comedies.
