El Gran Teatre Del Liceu

Club Capitol is located really central on La Rambla like El Gran Teatre Del Liceu. It opened in 1926 as a cinema and became a theatre in1989. The venue has two halls, one with around 520 seats and another one with around 260 seats. That the theatre is not that big, just makes the atmosphere even cozier. The theatre has had different owners while it has existed and it currently belongs to Grup Balaña, who also runs a number of other theatres in the city. It has had all kinds of shows like musicals and cabaret, but the main success has been comedies. An experience in Club Capitol theatre is one to remember!
