Tomatina Trip – 11:00 AM / 01:00 PM
Around 11:00 am, the Tomatina Festival begins. A ham is placed on the top of a pole that is covered in soap, once someone can climb to the top and bring it down then the festival can officially begin. The firing of the cannon is the official signal: the battle begins! From this point forward, every man and woman are for themselves.
An hour later, the fighting ends and the cannon are fired once again to signal the end of the battle. At this point no more tomatoes can be thrown.
