Els Encants Vells

The old and charming Els Encants Vells is Barcelona’s oldest, biggest and real permanent flea market. It was opened in the 14th century. Above all it has more than 500 sellers and stores. You can find there many different findings such as vintage clothing, toys, antique decor items, books, bikes, accessories for your phone and much more. By all means there is something for everyone!

Visit the market early if you want to buy something good and avoid disappointment. Plan a late visit close to the closing time if you want to haggle and get a good deal. The end of the day is when the sellers become eager to get rid of their goods. The flea market is open every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 – 20:00 and is located right next to Plaça de Les Glories.

Flamingo’s Vintage Kilo

Flamingo’s Vintage Kilo is a popular second-hand shop that has locations in several cities around the world. This shop is for all the vintage clothing addicts who search for unique, fun and fashionable items for reasonable prices! The shop sells the clothing by kilos, which means that the price of the piece is set by its weight. In fact when visiting this store you will enter a small universe of clothing and accessories. Mercat Gótic

This antique market is located in the Gothic quarter vis a vis of the spectacular Barcelona Cathedral. It is a small but well-stocked outdoor flea market which is open every Thursday. Without a doubt the style of the market is very old and charming. You will find ceramics, old albums, books, vintage jewellery, homeware, and other rare items. Mercat Gótic’s great location makes the vibe and atmosphere extraordinary. It is a touristy area full of people singing, performing, and travellers enjoying the beautiful surroundings. In December the antique market is replaced by a big and beautiful Christmas market on the same location which is full of Catalan Christmas decorations. For this reason is definitely worth a visit too!

Holala!

There are two Holala! second-hand shops in Barcelona: Holala! Tallers and Holala! Plaza. The shop have locations in other places besides Barcelona too, such as Ibiza and Paris. The shop promises “unique clothing for unique people” and has more than forty years of experience in vintage clothing. The style of their items after all is cool, urban, colourful, cosy, and trendy. You will find jackets, hats, belts, watches, furniture, magazines, vintage video games and much more. If you are a student, you can benefit from getting 10% off on everything all year round if you present a valid student card ID. At this point just start your treasure hunt of finding items that none of your peers owns when visiting this cool second-hand shop.

Flea Market – Placa de Blanquerna

Every second Sunday of the month a Flea market takes place in Placa de Blanquerna.

The market offers a unique experience for second hand and vintage lovers. Starting from the Museo Maritimo until Placa Maritimo you can find various of things to buy or even just enjoy the vibe of the market. In rality you will get overwhelmed by the variety of books, vinyl, furniture and clothes that this market has to offer.
