1. Barceloneta
Barcenoleta is one of the most popular and best beaches in Barcelona. Therefore, it can be quite busy during the hot summer months. That’s why we recommend you to come early in the morning to make sure you have a great spot at this lovely beach. It may be small but it sure offers lots of fun with its many beach activities, such as volleyball, surfing, swimming and many more. During the summer, you can enjoy the long sidewalks near the sea whilst you relish your ice cream. This touristic beach is perfect to meet new friends from all around the world and create amazing memories. And at the end of Barceloneta beach, you can also find lots of nightclubs to dance the night away.

2. Icària Beach
The Olympic stadium of Frank Gehry’s Peix marks the border between the Barceloneta seaside and Icària Beach. If you prefer a quieter beach to tan and relax, then this is the right place for you. Although you will still meet tourists and families with children, it has a more relaxing atmosphere because it is located a bit further from the center of Barcelona. At this beach, you can enjoy many nearby restaurants and fast food chains such as the Mc Donald’s but also shopping centers, cinemas, bars and clubs. It is the perfect place for an extended night after chilling on the beach!

3.Sant Sebastià Beach
Together with the Barceloneta beach, they form the oldest and most traditional seashores of Barcelona. With its 200-meter coast, it has calm waters and is very family orientated. On this beach, you will find many foreigners but also many people from Barcelona who visit the beach almost daily. 4. Mar Bella Beach
The name of this beach literally means Beautiful Sea, and there is a reason for it. Mar Bella Beach consists of a beautiful sand beach with rocks and green nature. It is especially popular by young people and attracts a cosmopolitan crowd from all walks of life, including sports lovers and students from the nearby faculties. This long beach is ideal for the romantics out there who want to spend an idealistic night by admiring a glamorous sunset. It is also perfect if you are a sports fan because it’s adequate to water sports! But be aware that Mar Bella Beach also has a nudist area! SO, DON’T BE SURPRISED.
